Refund policy

Returns

Because Rescate Wildlife Rescue Center is a non-profit organization and operates with limited resources, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, wrong size, or similar reasons.

Please make sure to review product descriptions, sizes, and details carefully before completing your purchase.

Where required by applicable consumer protection laws, we will honor any mandatory rights of withdrawal or returns.

You can always contact us with questions about a specific item at shop@rescatewildlife.org.

 


Damages and issues

Please inspect your order when you receive it and contact us as soon as possible if:

  • the item is defective or damaged, or

  • you receive the wrong item,

so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

To report a problem, please email shop@rescatewildlife.org with:

  • your order number

  • a description of the issue

  • clear photos of the product and packaging

Depending on the case, we may offer a replacement, store credit, or other appropriate solution. Because we are based in Costa Rica, we may not be able to physically replace every item shipped internationally, but we will always try to find a fair resolution.

 


Non-returnable items

Due to the nature of our work and our location in Costa Rica, we generally cannot accept returns. In particular, we do not accept returns for:

  • perishable or time-sensitive items

  • custom or personalized products

  • digital products or gift cards

This is in addition to any non-returnable categories required by health, safety, or local regulations.


Refunds

Because all sales are final, refunds are only issued in exceptional cases, for example when:

  • we are unable to fulfill your order, or

  • we are legally required to offer a refund under applicable consumer protection laws.

If a refund is approved, we will notify you by email and process it back to your original payment method. Please note that it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

If you believe you are entitled to a refund and have not heard from us within a reasonable time, please contact us at shop@rescatewildlife.org with your order number and details.
