This online shop is operated by Rescate Wildlife Rescue Center, a registered non-profit organization in Costa Rica.
Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and protect wildlife.
When we refer to “we”, “us”, or “our”, we mean Rescate Wildlife Rescue Center.
When we refer to “you”, we mean the customer or website visitor.
2. Use of Our Website
By using this website, you confirm that:

you have permission from a parent/guardian.
You agree not to use our site for illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.
We may modify or discontinue parts of the website without notice.
3. Product Availability & Accuracy
We do our best to ensure that product descriptions, images, and information are accurate.
However, occasionally:

colors may appear slightly different depending on screens,

small variations in product details may occur, or

limited-run items may sell out before stock updates.
We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue items at any time.
4. Pricing & Payments
All prices on the site are listed in USD, unless otherwise specified.
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout (e.g., credit card, PayPal).
Prices and availability may change without prior notice.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including suspected fraud or incorrect billing information.
5. Order Processing
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.
Processing times may be longer during holidays or special events.
You will receive an order confirmation email and, once shipped, a notification with tracking details (when available).
6. Shipping
We ship orders throughout Costa Rica.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and order size/weight.
Delivery times vary by location—typically:

2–4 business days within the Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM)

4–7 business days for other regions of Costa Rica
Weekends and public holidays are not considered business days.
You are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address.
We are not responsible for delays caused by courier services.
7. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
All sales are final.
As a non-profit organization with limited resources, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for reasons such as change of mind, wrong size, or similar.
However, if your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will evaluate the issue and make it right.
Please contact us at shop@rescatewildlife.org within a reasonable time after receiving your order, and include:

your order number

a description of the issue

clear photos of the item and packaging
Refunds are only issued in exceptional cases, such as:

we cannot fulfill the order, or
-
we are legally required to offer a refund.
If a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method.
Please note your bank or card issuer may require additional time to post the refund.
8. International Orders
At this time, our online store is focused on domestic shipments within Costa Rica.
If international shipping becomes available and you place an order, you will be responsible for all customs fees, duties, taxes, and import requirements.
9. Donations Through Purchases
If a portion of your purchase supports wildlife care or rescue programs, this information will be stated clearly on the product page.
Purchases through the shop are not automatically considered charitable donations unless specified.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rescate Wildlife Rescue Center is not liable for:

indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

courier delays or lost packages due to incorrect addresses

misuse of products after delivery
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your order.

12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Costa Rica.
Any disputes must be resolved under Costa Rican jurisdiction.
