Shipping Policy – Rescate Wildlife Rescue Center
Domestic shipping
We ship throughout Costa Rica. Shipping cost depends on the weight and size of your order, and the delivery address.
Delivery times

For deliveries within the Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM) and Alajuela: 5–10 business days after payment confirmation.

For deliveries outside GAM or to remote areas: 7–14 business days, depending on location and courier availability.

Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and public holidays are not counted as business days.
Costs
Shipping fees vary based on package weight/size and destination. The exact cost will be displayed at checkout before payment.
Courier & Delivery method
We work with reliable local courier services and the national postal service (Correos de Costa Rica). Customers may also have the option to pick up orders directly at our center (address: 2.3 km al este del cruce de Manolo’s, ruta 3, hacia el B° San José – Provincia de Alajuela, Alajuela), if that is more convenient.
International shipping / imports
Currently, we focus on domestic shipments within Costa Rica. If international shipping is requested, the customer is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees applicable in the destination country.
Processing time
Orders are prepared and dispatched within 5 business days after payment confirmation. Shipping times start counting from the moment the package leaves our facility.
Address / Customer Responsibilities
Please ensure your shipping address is complete and correct. Failures due to incorrect or incomplete addresses (e.g. wrong postal code, missing phone number) are the responsibility of the customer.
Delays & Holidays
Public holidays and weekends may cause delays. We are not responsible for courier-related delays (e.g. customs, weather, courier backlog), but will do our best to coordinate with the carrier and keep you informed.

Some products in our store are printed and shipped on demand through Printful, our international production partner.
These items ship separately from any products fulfilled from Costa Rica.

Fulfillment Time
Printful requires 2–5 business days to produce your order before shipping.
Fulfillment times may be slightly longer during holidays or high-volume periods.

Tracking Information
All Printful shipments include tracking.
You will receive a tracking link once your order has been fulfilled and shipped.

they will be shipped separately.
You may receive more than one package and tracking number.
Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Shipments
Printful investigates cases of lost or damaged orders.
If your item arrives damaged or does not arrive within the expected timeframe, please contact us and we will assist with the claim.
